Pictures - Bonampak (Mayan site)

Bonampak is an archaeological site located in the state of Chiapas in Mexico. This place is a major Maya site because of the well-preserved murals. The frescoes there show that the Maya, like the Aztecs, sacreficed people. The site was discovered in 1946 by Giles Healy, who was amazed by what is now known as the Temple of the Murals he found there.
